For people who love all animals, choosing between cats and dogs is quite the dilemma. On the one hand you have dogs ,who are obedient, loyal, relatively smart and full of love. On the other hand, you have cats who are super selective about where their attention goes, and will let you know the very second that they have had enough of you. Each option has its merits, and for many of us hoomans it is enough to love both equally.

However, you have to understand something. From the perspective of those who sit firmly in either camp, you are disloyal to both camps, a traitor if there ever was one. So we sincerely recommend that you find a way to choose one or the other, because even if you were to meet someone from the opposing camp, at least they would respect you for having made a decision.

  • A gentle reminder that if you were leaning towards the canine side of things because you were hoping to have a pawtector in the house, then you might want  to think again. Not that cats are much better, but you can believe that if an intruder tried to mess with something your cat child really cared for, that intruder would be leaving covered in claw marks.
